My series Fountain of Miracles created in response to the miracle with Virgin Mary that happened in the Chapel of Nossa Senhora, in Maceira. Inspired by Isis/ Ezuli and the black Madonna. I encompass the light where the veil is thinned in bathing ritual during the day of the summer solstice. In video I talk about my art process and thinking with art critic and curator Luísa Soares de Oliveira curator Ana Anacleto and artist Paulo Brighenti. This piece considers the on-site location symbolism of water and light as tools for rebirth.
